Free Episcopal Curricula

Lesson Plans that Work is a curriculum resource published by the Episcopal Church. They are written by experienced church teachers using practical approaches to respond to the needs of volunteer teachers. They are designed to follow the Revised Common Lectionary and there are lesson plans for Adults, Younger Children, and Older Children.

Episcopal Children’s Curriculum is now available for free from the Center for the Ministry of Teaching. They have a Children’s Curriculum and Youth Curriculum.

Weaving God’s Promises is a three-year Episcopal curriculum for children (ages 3-11) and middle-school youth (ages 12-14), published by Morehouse Education Resources.

Confirmation Curriculum

Confirm not Conform is published by Forward Movement and is a confirmation program that celebrates questions and choices. There is a Confirm not Conform for Youth and for Adults which both provide a safe place for people to explore the breadth of the Christian tradition, to ask questions and express their doubts, and to discover what they truly believe. There are also ecumenical Confirm not Conform curricula.
