What We Believe

We believe God’s love is for everyone. No exceptions.

We believe there’s a place for everyone in God’s family: Black, white, gay, straight, single, married or divorced.

We believe in a God of creation, redemption, constant presence and love.

We believe that in Jesus Christ, crucified and risen God’s love for the whole human race has been declared.

Bible: We believe Scripture is the word of God given to humanity to help bring us closer to God. It recounts God’s historic work among humankind. http://www.biblegateway.com

Nicene Creed: This statement of faith outlines the fundamentals of our Christian faith. It was adopted in the 300s by the early church founders. The creed is said every Sunday in Episcopal and Anglican churches around the United States and world.http://www.bcponline.org/HE/he2.htm#The%20Nicene%20Creed

Catechism: The teachings and beliefs of the Episcopal Church are articulated in this “Outline of the Faith.” It is designed in a question and answer format. http://www.bcponline.org/Misc/catechism.htm
