SUMMARY:Faith Days at Tikkun Farm
DESCRIPTION:A multi-faith volunteer gathering held on the third Saturday of each month\, Big Book Moments at Tikkun Farm\, are designed for all ages and abilities\, and is a great opportunity to have a spiritual experience while listening for God’s voice in the Big Book of Creation. We will work together to serve the needs of the farm. Projects may include work that supports the garden\, helps with a construction task that needs a lot of hands\, works inside organizing materials\, or processing alpaca fiber. SUMMARY:Eucharistic Visitor training
DESCRIPTION:Eucharistic Visitor training will be held on Saturday\, January 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at Christ Church\, Springfield. \nEucharistic Visitors are licensed lay people who take Communion to parishioners who are unable to attend services\, for example\, those in the hospital. This training is open to people who wish to be licensed as Eucharistic Visitors\, or who need to have their license renewed.  \nIndividuals should be nominated and registered by their rector or priest-in-charge\, using the online form. It is a powerful story of faith and conviction. It is a story for all of us\, regardless of faith tradition. \nThere is a suggested donation of $10 per person.
