DESCRIPTION:Are you hearing a call to ordained ministry? Do you feel a nudge toward the diaconate or priesthood? \nIn Diocese of Southern Ohio\, attending the Commission on Ministry’s “Explorers’ Retreat” is the first step to entering the discernment process for ordained ministry. Both the explorer and parish priest (or in the absence of the priest\, a warden or other member of parish) must participate. \nThe Explorers’ Retreat Day will include: \n\nan introduction to our diocesan Explorer Discernment Process (pre-Postulancy)\nbasic information about the steps to ordination\nnext steps for beginning the process\nsharing about various lay ministries\nBible study and theological reflection about ministry\n\nJoin us!
