DESCRIPTION:Bishop White invites leaders and people of the diocese to join her and the diocesan staff at regional staff days taking place throughout 2025. These regional days are intended to bring the diocesan staff — a team of people charged with empowering local leaders and building capacity for congregational ministry — physically closer to all corners of our diocese to reduce barriers for face-to-face connection. \nEach regional staff day will include an hour of drop-in fellowship and conversation from 10 to 11 am with snacks and coffee. DESCRIPTION:Receive the canonically required anti-racism certification by completing this course via Zoom with Miriam McKenney\, Missioner for Beloved Community\, and co-leaders. Miriam uses picture books in this training to discover\, explore\, discuss\, and share stories. We’ll explore topics you may not have learned about in your formal education but are crucial to our understanding as we work to repair\, heal\, and see God in each other. \nThis course is on Wednesday evenings\, May 7\, 14\, and 21\, from 6-8 p.m. Eastern. Bring your dinner! We will share stories\, scripture\, and solutions to dismantle racism in our corner of God’s creation. \nAttend all sessions for certification.
