Rebuild and strengthen your ability to hold the tensions of both living in the midst of uncertainty while\, at the same time\, staying spiritually grounded. Nourish your body\, mind and heart through prayer\, small and large group discussion\, journaling\, quiet time\, laughter\, music\, movement\, and resources. Rest in peace\, be awakened in joy\, and experience the simple presence of God in our midst. \nDr. Westina Matthews is an author\, public speaker\, spiritual director\, and retreat leader who has found a way to connect with others through her books\, essays\, lectures\, and teaching. For twelve years\, she was an Adjunct Professor at The General Theological Seminary in the Center for Christian Spirituality where she taught Contemplative Spiritual Direction. SUMMARY:Red Door Community Concert: The Mandy Gaines Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the Mandy Gaines Jazz Quartet in this final concert of Season 4! Accompanied by Jim Leslie on drums\, Chris Berg on bass\, and Brad Meyers on guitar\, Mandy will perform popular jazz ballads and swing. With over 30 years of experience Mandy has entertained audiences with performances which are refreshing\, soulful\, exciting. In 2018 she was inducted into the Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Fame. She is currently Resident Vocalist with the Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra and is featured on their freshman recording project. Touring and recording in clubs and hotels around the world\, Mandy continues to thrill her audiences along the way! \nThis concert is free and open to the public\, and will also be live-streamed on Holy Trinity’s YouTube channel.
