DESCRIPTION:Threshold is a fresh focus on leadership for priests who are new to the diocese\, and resident clergy who are transitioning into new leadership roles in one of our parishes. \nParticipants are invited to attend eight sessions that run on a rotating basis throughout the course of one year covering a wide range of topics to prepare you well to step into your new roles with confidence and care. \nIn our sessions\, we will cover: Trust Development\, Communication and Conflict Resolution\, Culture Building and Vision Casting\, Church Finances and Property Stewardship\, Who to Call on the Diocesan Staff\, Worship & Liturgy\, Collegial Relationships\, and Health and Wellness. To graduate from the program\, participants are asked to attend each of these eight sessions once. \nOur gatherings will generally occur on the third Thursdays of each month (August-November & January-April)\, from 12-3pm with lunch included at Procter Camp and Conference Center! \n2025 Dates\nAugust 21\nSeptember 18\nOctober 23 (4th Thursday)\nNovember 21

DESCRIPTION:Come join in conversation with those steeped in prayer\, theology\, the wild outdoors\, agriculture\, and the front lines of pollution\, climate change\, biodiversity loss\, and land use. Take time to wander over the acres of the Proctor Center. Come ready to put your feet on the ground and get your hands dirty while contemplating the goodness of the earth and the wonders of creation\, and listening to the Holy Spirit’s call to action! \nThe Episcopal Creation Care Gathering is an annual church-wide event focused on the work of Christian ministry\, mission\, and living on earth. These gatherings create space for conversation\, learning\, and practice as we explore the deep relationships that bind together spirituality\, justice\, ecology\, discipleship\, and evangelism. \nThis event is for church leaders\, creation care advocates\, gardeners\, green team members\, formation leaders\, and all those interested in our care of all creation. The deadline to register is September 5. \nEpiscopal Creation Care Gathering is co-sponsored by Provinces IV and V\, Procter Center and the Diocese of Southern Ohio. \nTo make this gathering as affordable as possible for all\, we are offering three pricing tiers ranging from $100-375. Please choose the rate you are able to pay. If you have the funds to pay the real cost\, that helps offset our scholarship and subsidized rates.
