DESCRIPTION:Threshold is a fresh focus on leadership for priests who are new to the diocese\, and resident clergy who are transitioning into new leadership roles in one of our parishes. \nParticipants are invited to attend eight sessions that run on a rotating basis throughout the course of one year covering a wide range of topics to prepare you well to step into your new roles with confidence and care. \nIn our sessions\, we will cover: Trust Development\, Communication and Conflict Resolution\, Culture Building and Vision Casting\, Church Finances and Property Stewardship\, Who to Call on the Diocesan Staff\, Worship & Liturgy\, Collegial Relationships\, and Health and Wellness. To graduate from the program\, participants are asked to attend each of these eight sessions once. \nOur gatherings will generally occur on the third Thursdays of each month (August-November & January-April)\, from 12-3pm with lunch included at Procter Camp and Conference Center! \n2025 Dates\nAugust 21\nSeptember 18\nOctober 23 (4th Thursday)\nNovember 21

DESCRIPTION:Calling all parish employees and volunteers tasked with running the “business” of the church office! \nPlease join us for a series of Zoom calls to connect parish administrators across the diocese. Together we’ll pray\, build community\, share ideas\, answer questions\, and learn best practices. \nThis opportunity is for all those connected to the work of parish administration\, whether volunteer or staff\, lay or clergy\, and whether you’re working solo or with a team. DESCRIPTION:Receive the canonically required anti-racism certification by completing this course via Zoom with Miriam McKenney\, Missioner for Beloved Community\, and co-leaders. Miriam uses picture books in this training to discover\, explore\, discuss\, and share stories. We’ll explore topics you may not have learned about in your formal education but are crucial to our understanding as we work to repair\, heal\, and see God in each other. \nThis course is on Thursday evenings\, November 6\, 13\, and 20\, from 6–8 p.m. Eastern. Bring your dinner! We will share stories\, scripture\, and solutions to dismantle racism in our corner of God’s creation. \nAttend all sessions for certification.
