DESCRIPTION:Receive the canonically required anti-racism certification by completing this course via Zoom with Miriam McKenney\, Missioner for Beloved Community\, and co-leaders. Miriam uses picture books in this training to discover\, explore\, discuss\, and share stories. We’ll explore topics you may not have learned about in your formal education but are crucial to our understanding as we work to repair\, heal\, and see God in each other. \nThis course is on Tuesday\, Wednesday\, and Thursday afternoons\, December 2\, 3\, 4\, 9\, 10\, and 11\, from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern. Bring your lunch! We will share stories\, scripture\, and solutions to dismantle racism in our corner of God’s creation. \nAttend all sessions for certification.
