SUMMARY:Chrism Mass and Renewal of Ordination Vows
DESCRIPTION:Bishop White invites the clergy of the Diocese of Southern Ohio to gather together on the Tuesday of Holy Week for our annual Eucharist\, renewing ordination vows together and blessing the chrism oil used throughout the diocese in the next year. \nThe Chrism Mass highlights the ministry we share together; a bishop’s ministry is extended symbolically by the chrism oil that will be used in baptism in each faith community of our diocese over the next year. In praying together the renewal of our vows\, we’re reminded of the commitments made to God and God’s Beloved Community at the time of ordination. \nClergy are invited to vest for the service wearing choir dress (black cassock and white surplice) with white stoles. A group photo will be taken afterward. \n10:00 am Optional fellowship time\n11:00 am Mass and anointing\n12:30 pm Lunch \nRegistration deadline is March 17. REGISTER HERE
