DESCRIPTION:As we work toward becoming Beloved Community in Southern Ohio\, books can help us explore paths toward healing and reconciliation. Like the stories from holy scripture\, stories in books offer a common language and equal ground to discuss challenging issues and topics while building community. \nEach first Tuesday of the month\, we will gather\, pray\, and discuss a book the hosts believe will bring us closer to the dream God has for us as God’s beloved children. Our title for February and March is The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Participants can request a free copy of the book on the RSVP form. \nReading the book is not mandatory for this book study! Whether you read a few pages or the whole book\, our conversation will be better with you there. Just prepare for spoilers! We’ll talk about the book—our favorite parts\, where we see ourselves\, and what this book has to do with us\, our faith communities\, and our diocese. \nJoin us to discuss texts vital to our understanding of the beloved community in the Diocese of Southern Ohio and beyond. \nOur discussion of The Serviceberry takes place February 4 and March  from 7 to 8 pm. DESCRIPTION:An Advent Procession with Lessons and Carols\nSunday\, December 1\n4:30-5:00 pm | Pre-Service Organ Recital\n5:00-6:15 pm | Advent Procession \nThis beautiful service is a wonderful way to begin the season of waiting for Christ’s birth. It is built around the seven Great “O” Antiphons that were traditionally sung at Vespers on the seven days prior to Christmas and eventually became the seven stanzas of the familiar Advent hymn “O Come\, O Come\, Emmanuel.” During the service\, music\, Scripture readings\, and prayers invite us to reflect on each of the antiphons. Seven gorgeous banners bearing the “O” Antiphon symbols\, each carried in procession while its corresponding antiphon is sung\, make this a visually as well as musically rich experience. Music sung by the choir will include: Let My Prayer Come Up as the Incense (Peter Hallock)\, The Great “O Antiphons” (Mode 2 plainchant and Peter Hallock)\, The Doctrine of Wisdom (William Mathias)\, Confortamini (Orlando di Lasso)\, A Tender Shoot (Kerensa Briggs)\, Hosanna to the Son of David (Thomas Weelkes)\, Infinite Light (arr.
