DESCRIPTION:Safe Church training helps us protect children\, youth\, and vulnerable adults by promoting healthy boundaries\, accountability\, and care. It is a practical way to live out our Baptismal Covenant by respecting the dignity of every human being and striving for justice and peace. \nThe training also equips clergy\, staff\, and volunteers to build trust and respond faithfully and appropriately if concerns arise\, helping our congregations remain safe and welcoming places for all. \nThose who prefer an in-person learning experience are invited to attend the daylong training at Procter Camp and Conference Center on Saturday\, May 2nd. We’ll begin at 10 am and conclude by 3 pm\, with a break for lunch. SUMMARY:End of School Year Youth Event
DESCRIPTION:Join youth from across the diocese for an end-of-the-school-year celebration at Kings Island in Mason! \nWe’ll spend time together focused on fun and fellowship; a chance to give thanks for the hard work of the last school year and look ahead to summer. All completing 6th through 12th graders are invited to join us for this event. If you have your own season pass\, please indicate that in the registration. For those that do not have a season pass\, your ticket will be covered (but bring extra money for concessions and other spending at the park!). \nChurches are encouraged to bring groups and carpool. \nSunday\, May 31\, 2026 \nNoon – Meet at the Front Gates\nDepart at any time with parents/chaperones. The park closes at 10 pm. \nKings Island\n6300 Kings Island Drive\nMason\, Ohio 45034 \nAll youth completing 6th-12th grades with their parents or youth group leaders are welcome. Tickets are free! Participants should bring extra funds for concessions and any other in-park purchases. Registration deadline is May 24.
