Smith served as the 26th national president of Delta Sigma Theta sorority from 2017 to 2021. She is an accomplished entrepreneur and has held notable leadership positions across various sectors\, including education\, corporate\, government\, and non-profit organizations. In addition to her professional achievements\, she is a dedicated community volunteer\, a passionate civic collaborator\, and an innovative leader.

Miriam uses picture books in this training to discover\, explore\, discuss\, and share stories. We’ll explore topics you may not have learned about in your formal education but are crucial to our understanding as we work to repair\, heal\, and see God in each other. \nThis course is on Wednesday evenings\, May 7\, 14\, and 21\, from 6-8 p.m. Eastern. Christ Church is near the center of the secure zone\, yet our church building will not stand empty; in recognition of the powerful need for peace in our time\, we will offer “Sanctuary for Peace”. \nAlthough Christ Church is inside the security zone\, access is available by foot from about 1-2 blocks away. We’ll share information on parking and security zone access points as soon as details become available to us.
