DESCRIPTION:Threshold is a fresh focus on leadership for priests who are new to the diocese\, and resident clergy who are transitioning into new leadership roles in one of our parishes. \nParticipants are invited to attend eight sessions that run on a rotating basis throughout the course of one year covering a wide range of topics to prepare you well to step into your new roles with confidence and care. \nIn our sessions\, we will cover: Trust Development\, Communication and Conflict Resolution\, Culture Building and Vision Casting\, Church Finances and Property Stewardship\, Who to Call on the Diocesan Staff\, Worship & Liturgy\, Collegial Relationships\, and Health and Wellness. DESCRIPTION:Come hear Ayman Soliman tell his powerful and emotional story of fleeing political persecution in his home country to seek safety and asylum in the United States\, and then his personal experience of being arrested and detained in the Butler County jail for 72 days. \nThis evening is a free event that will include inspiring music including songs by Bill Tonnis from his new album\, “The Time to Love Is Now.”  There will also be a simple reception afterwards where we can gather together as a community in a show of love and support for our neighbors during these difficult times. \nA good will offering will be collected to support the legal defense of immigrants.
