SUMMARY:Interfaith Prayer Gathering for Healing and Peace
DESCRIPTION:A gathering to create space for us to come together across differences and to hold one another\, our communities\, and our world with care. Participants are invited to offer a brief spiritual contribution that speaks to healing and peace. This may take the form of a prayer\, poem\, reading\, song\, or reflection rooted in your tradition or lived experience. Listening is also a meaningful and complete way to participate. The gathering will last approximately one hour. Sponsored by EquaSion. \nAt EquaSion\, we believe healing happens when people show up with intention\, humility\, and care. DESCRIPTION:The 8th annual Cincinnati Festival of Faiths will begin on Sunday\, June 22 from 12:30 to 4:30 pm at the Cintas Center at Xavier University. The festival is a celebration of all faiths where we can have fun and learn from one another. The Diocese of Southern Ohio is a major sponsor of the free event. \nIn addition to the June 22 main exhibition at the Cintas Center\, the Festival of Faiths also includes a wonderful no cost virtual program during the festival week. On Monday\, June 23 at 7 pm\, Sister Caroljean Willie and Becca Desai will moderate a program\, “There’s Always Hope for our Planet: A Lot Is In Our Own Hands\,” a discussion on how people are keeping hope alive for our beloved planet in their daily lives.
