DESCRIPTION:The OH/KY Chapter of the Society of the Holy Cross will meet on Saturday\, March 23 at St. Anne’s\, West Chester\, beginning at 10:30 a.m. This is an open meeting designed to give women who would like to learn more about about Companionship a chance to meet the Companion in Charge of the Society\, Jackie Schmitt\, who will speak on “What is Companionship all about ?”\n\nAny woman who is interested in  learning more about Companions or who is feeling a need to deepen her life of prayer is welcome to join us for this meeting and meet other Companions. We are a community of women focused on prayer and social justice in a non-partisan way.  If you are a woman who has Companions in your parish or is generally curious about Companions\, please consider joining us.\n\nWe are aware that this is the Saturday of Palm Sunday weekend\, so we urge anyone with multiply obligations on that day to consider coming to St. Ann’s whenever you are free. We will share stories\, break bread together\, and work with neighbors to increase our hope and strength to build Beloved Communities. \nThis event is free. Dinner included. Please RSVP by March 17. Sponsored by the Faith in Life Committee of the Diocese of Southern Ohio. \nRabbi Hanan Schlesinger is a rabbi living in Israel’s West Bank. He is the founder of Roots/Judur/Shorashim\, a Palestinian Israeli grassroots initiative for understanding\, non-violence\, and transformation in the West Bank. \nKhalil Sayegh is a Palestinian from a refugee family. He was born and raised in the Gaza strip and moved to the West Bank in 2014. \nThey will share stories of learning to listen to neighbors whose identity with faith and land is as deeply rooted as his\, and how this listening can lead to a passionate pluralism that honors each other’s dignity and worth. \n \n  \n\n Fill out my Wufoo form!
