Clergy and Lay Leaders,
Due to extenuating circumstances, the dates of our 2026 convention have changed from what was initially shared. Our 152nd Diocesan Convention will now take place November 20-21, 2026, still at the Hilton Polaris Columbus.
The following dates and deadlines correspond to that change:
- August 22 – Deadline to submit proposed changes to the Diocesan Constitution and Canons
- October 1 – Eastern Region Pre-Convention Meeting on Zoom at 6 pm
- October 6 – Final deadline to submit nominations and resolutions
- October 6 – Western Region Pre-Convention Meeting on Zoom at 6 pm
- October 7 – Central Region Pre-Convention Meeting on Zoom at 6 pm
- October 8 – Southwest Region Pre-Convention Meeting on Zoom at 6 pm
- (October 17 – Diocesan Council meets to approve and forward the budget to convention)
- November 6 – Registration deadline
Additionally, in recognition of the potential inconvenience of this date change, hybrid participation will be an option once more in 2026 for folks needing to participate in Saturday’s voting portion of our convention from afar. This option is expected to phase out for our convention in 2027.
