The diocesan office of formation supports people of all ages and vocations in our diocese. From Procter Summer Camp to licensed ministry training, the formation team works with congregations to make disciples and to further the ministry of healing and reconciliation in our relationships with God, each other, and all of God’s creation.
Formation Opportunities
Procter Summer Camp
Procter Camp, a ministry of the Diocese of Southern Ohio, is a place for children, youth, and families to grow in faith, sing, learn, play, and pray together. Programs are offered for children in elementary school, middle school, and high school. Family camp and “silver camp” for adults are also offered. Learn more.
Education for Ministry

The Way of Love
The Way of Love, an offering from the Episcopal Church that provides resources to practice a justice-centered life. Learn more.

Licensed Ministry
Lay ministry comes in many forms, but some ministries require a license from the ecclesiastical authority in the diocese. Currently in the Diocese of Southern Ohio, worship leaders, preachers, and eucharistic ministers and visitors. Learn more.
Faith in Life Grants
The Faith in Life Committee acts as the trustees of an endowment from the Second Century Fund to provide grants for programs for christian education. Learn more.
