Governor vetoes trans bill
*Governor DeWine has vetoed the bill banning gender-affirming care for trans youth, after consulting many people including Ohio’s major children’s hospitals. Leaders of both the Ohio House and Senate believe they have the votes to override his veto.

Go to the Ohio Legislature website and put your address in the “Who represents me” box to immediately connect to their names and contact information. Please consider emailing the governor too. His decision harmonizes with resolutions of the Episcopal Church cited in our Dec. 19 advocacy post.
