Lenten Quiet Day

You are invited to an Lenten Quiet Day at Procter Center on February 28, from 10 am to 3 pm.
This year’s theme is “The Rhythm of Nature: Exploring Celtic Spirituality” and will be led by the Rev. Libbie Crawford, Procter’s Deacon in Residence.
Celtic spirituality is an ancient way of life that is in tune with nature and the rhythms of the cycle of life. It is creative and calls us to pay attention to the turning of the seasons. Deacon Libbie will share some of her favorite resources, prayers, and practices and invite us to explore and practice these traditions for ourselves.
The day will include a workshop led by Deacon Libble, Noonday prayer led by the Greers, lunch from the Procter Kitchen, and time for silent prayer, reflection, and practice.
The cost for the retreat is $40. Register here.
Deacon Libbie is a dedicated minister whose career has always focused on helping others. Libbie’s background in library sciences and her childhood in Alabama as the daughter of a Civil Rights worker, has helped to shape and fuel her commitment to education, literacy, racial equity, and human rights. Deacon Libbie serves as the Resident Deacon at the Procter Center, as Staff Chaplain for the Summer Camp program, and on the Beloved Community team for the Diocese of Southern Ohio.
