An Epiphany Procession at Christ Church Cathedral

The Christ Church Cathedral choir will perform at Christ Church Cathedral on Sunday, January 12, at 5:00 p.m.

Join us for a service of Scripture, prayer, music, and pageantry that reflects on the three Epiphany mysteries: the revelation of the Christ child to the Magi, the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, and the turning of water into wine at the wedding in Cana. Music sung by the choir will include: Canticles for the Epiphany Procession (Stephan Casurella), Here Is the Little Door (Herbert Howells), The Magi’s Dream (James Whitbourn), The Baptism of Christ (Peter Hallock), Set Me as a Seal (Eleanor Daley), Cana’s Guest (Richard Allain), Love Bade Me Welcome (David Hurd), Vast Ocean of Light (Jonathan Dove).

An organ recital performed by organist Eunice JungEun Oh precedes the service at 4:30 pm.

Incense will be used at this service.
