An Epiphany Procession at Christ Church Cathedral

The Christ Church Cathedral choir will perform on Sunday, January 11, at 5 p.m.

Join us for a service of Scripture, prayer, music, and pageantry that reflects on the three Epiphany mysteries: the revelation of the Christ child to the Magi, the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River, and the turning of water into wine at the wedding in Cana. Music sung by the choir will include: Canticles for the Epiphany Procession (Stephan Casurella), Magi veniunt ab oriente (Clemens non Papa), O nata lux (Anna Lapwood), Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day (Richard Shephard), Set Me as a Seal (William Walton), Tribus miraculis (Luca Marenzio), Cana’s Guest (Richard Allain), Seek Him That Maketh the Seven Stars (Jonathan Dove).

An organ recital performed by organist Ethan Mellema precedes the service at 4:30 pm.
