In-Person Safe Church Training

Safe Church training helps us protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults by promoting healthy boundaries, accountability, and care. It is a practical way to live out our Baptismal Covenant by respecting the dignity of every human being and striving for justice and peace.
The training also equips clergy, staff, and volunteers to build trust and respond faithfully and appropriately if concerns arise, helping our congregations remain safe and welcoming places for all.
Those who prefer an in-person learning experience are invited to attend the daylong training at Procter Camp and Conference Center on Saturday, May 2nd. We’ll begin at 10 am and conclude by 3 pm, with a break for lunch. Participation in this training completes the requirement for service on vestries, diocesan leadership, and most other ministry roles.
