In-person Safe Church Training

The diocese will offer two in-person trainings for Safe Church on September 13 & 14 at the Procter Center. These trainings will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Bishop Krumm room. We will finish training at 12, and lunch is not part of our gathering.

This training will cover the following modules encompassed in Universal Training, Safe Church, Safe Communities:

• Introduction and Theological Background
• Organizational Rules and Policies
• Healthy Boundaries
• Inclusion
• Duty to Report: Mandated Reporter

The training will be led by Emma Helms-Steinmetz and utilize power point and videos as part of the session. Space is limited to 20 participants per session. Sign up here.
