Come practice Joy as Resistance at the JOY BLOCK PARTY event on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, 3 to 5 pm, in downtown Cincinnati on the Court St. Plaza.
This free community gathering is all about finding strength and connection through joy. We’ll celebrate with drumming, dancing, singing, and storytelling, featuring live music by April Mann and reflections from April Roush on “Why Joy.” You’ll also get the chance to make music together and close with a beautiful group song before 5 pm.
Bring your spirit of curiosity, kindness, and rhythm — and stay after to grab a bite at one of the local restaurants nearby to keep the joy going while supporting downtown businesses.
