Rebel With a Cause: Sincerely Yours, Pauli Murray

The Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray (1910–1985)— the first Black woman ordained as an Episcopal priest, visionary lawyer, and fearless civil rights activist—broke barriers and reshaped the fight for justice and equality in America. 

Early November brings a powerful series of tributes, including a major concert and thought-provoking symposia that will honor her brilliance and enduring impact. The World House Choir presents Rebel With a Cause: Sincerely Yours, Pauli Murray. This powerful musical portrait, composed by Steve Milloy and performed by the World House Choir, brings Murray’s words and spirit to life through chorus, soloists, narrator, and instrumental ensemble.
