When Church is not Enough: Religious Life Sunday event

Are you hungry for more? Are you looking to love God more deeply, to serve the Church and the world in significant ways, to find authentic, intentional Christian community? Have you looked at monastic life within the Episcopal Church? Is God calling you to a deeper relationship? On January 25—Religious Life Sunday, you can put your desire into action. As you find out more, you’ll see that there are 19 canonically recognized Christian communities in the Episcopal Church and 20 religious orders that are part of the worldwide Anglican (Episcopal) Communion. Several of these organizations have members from the Diocese of Southern Ohio. They follow many different paths, but are all centered in Christ and live by a Rule of Life and obedience to their community. All of them are shifting the love of power into the power of love.

If you are a member of a Religious community or curious about it, you are invited to join us in conversation and celebrate Eucharist with your brothers and sisters, and find out more. We gather on Sunday, January 25 at 3 pm at the Community of the Transfiguration in Cincinnati. Bishop Nedi Rivera, Companion TSSF, is joining us and will offer Eucharist at 4:30 pm. And the Sisters are hosting supper afterwards.
