Beloved Community Book Study
April 1, May 6, June 3, 2025 from 7-8 pm on Zoom
Books continue to guide us as we discern our paths of healing and reconciliation and toward becoming Beloved Community in Southern Ohio.
The Serviceberry felt like a spare, holy text; we have gleaned much from it over the last two months. Now let’s lean into love with All About Love: New Visions by bell hooks. Our sister bell hooks has much to teach us in these pages. May we be ready to receive her offerings. Participants can request a free copy of the book on the RSVP form.
Reading the book is not mandatory for this book study! Whether you read a few pages or the whole book, our conversation will be better with you there. Just prepare for spoilers! We’ll talk about the book—our favorite parts, where we see ourselves, and what this book has to do with us, our faith communities, and our diocese.
Join us to discuss texts vital to our understanding of the beloved community in the Diocese of Southern Ohio and beyond.
