You’re Invited: Bi-Diocesan Beloved Community Retreat

Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of injustice, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover them and not to hide yourself from your own kin? Isaiah 58:6-7

Episcopalians across the state of Ohio are invited on retreat to practice being together as God’s beloved children, at peace with one another and all of creation. This retreat is for those seeking community, belonging, and restoration while building relationship across difference, seeking God in each face we see.

The bishops of the Episcopal Church in Ohio, the Rt. Rev. Kristin Uffelman White and the Rt. Rev. Anne B. Jolly, will be present for portions of our retreat and wholeheartedly support the collaborative work of our Ohio dioceses. Together, we will pray, worship, share stories, rest, commune, and explore the farm as we practice being beloved community. Please join us!
