Closing Service for Holy Trinity, Kenwood
Wednesday, December 3rd at 6 pm at Holy Trinity
Earlier this year, the leadership of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Kenwood discerned it was time to close. At diocesan convention in November, the delegates and clergy will be asked to affirm this decision and make official the closure of the congregation.
Please then join us as we celebrate the closing Eucharist at Holy Trinity, Kenwood and mark our gratitude for the congregation’s impact on the community and our diocese. As part of the service, we will celebrate the many generations that have been formed by Word and Sacrament at Holy Trinity, break bread around the altar, and secularize the sacred space.
Clergy who have historically been involved with Holy Trinity are invited to vest and process wearing white stoles.
A reception with light refreshments will follow the liturgy.
