Immigration 101

Are you looking to understand the issue of immigration better? Could you use a refresher on how our immigration system works?
Join Episcopalians from across the diocese for an online training led by Samatha Searls of Ignite Peace, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit that educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust systems, and promotes the creation of a nonviolent society.
Immigration 101 is an interactive presentation explaining how the immigration system works (and doesn’t work!). We’ll define basic terms, see examples in local stories and discuss current events and challenges facing the immigrant community in Ohio.
Join us as we come together for discussion and implement our learning in our lives and in the ministries of our congregations.
